Buon 2012 / Happy New Year !

Il team di VaiSulWeb desidera augurare a tutti i nostri clienti un fantastico 2012 e confermare che siamo già al lavoro per introdurre moltissime novità ! Trascorso un 2011 molto emozionante che ci ha visti proiettati da una dimensione nazionale a quella internazionale (avete notato che questo messaggio è in due lingue ?), un anno che iniziava proprio di questi tempi con l'ammissione nella Web Hosting Gallery di Microsoft (allora, l'unica azienda italiana ed una delle poche in Europa).

Da quel momento e durante tutto il 2011 abbiamo continuato a fornire ai nostri clienti novità ad alto valore tecnologico, culminate con l'introduzione della linea VSW VPS Basic sui nuovi server europei, l'ultima novità dei nostri servizi, introdotta proprio nel mese di Dicembre per chiudere in bellezza un meraviglioso 2011 che registra, in un contesto di difficoltà economica come quello attuale, numeri più che lusinghieri per VaiSulWeb. Il 2011 si chiude con un fatturato in crescita del 30% sul 2010, un 15% in più di domini e siti Web ospitati e circa la stessa quantità di nuovi clienti, a conferma che l'offerta tecnologica di VaiSulWeb sia sempre più interessante.

Le star del 2011 sono però, senza alcun dubbio due :

l'inclusione della Web Hosting Gallery di Microsoft, cosa che ha certificato la massima compatibilità delle nostre piattaforme con le tecnologie più recenti;
l'offerta di server virtuali (macchine virtuali) della linea VSW VPS Basic.

La prima ha fatto assurgere la nostra azienda al contesto internazionale e specialmente quello europeo, suscitando l'interesse di molti utenti non-italiani. Attualmente VaiSulWeb ha clienti in Spagna, Portogallo, Germania, Gran Bretagna e Belgio ma le novità che abbiamo previsto per il 2012 (ed un sito Web rivolto anche ai nostri clienti all'estero) rendono probabile una espansione in altri contesti.

La seconda rappresenta una innovazione tecnologica sia nel contesto italiano che in quello europeo. In particolare, la possibilità di utilizzare uno dei nostri modelli di installazione per pre-configurare il proprio server virtuale, ottimizzandolo anche per l'esecuzione di specifiche applicazioni, cambia il contesto e la diffusione dei server virtuali, rendendo possibile l'attivazione anche ad utenti meno esperti (ma che possano farsi seguire in ambito sistemistico !). Con pochi click ed in pochi minuti il proprio server virtuale è attivo e configurato. Inoltre, l'offerta rivenditori per la linea VSW VPS Basic, che renderemo disponibile a Gennaio, consentirà ai nostri rivenditori di progettare le proprie offerte, rendendosi indipendenti da VaiSulWeb pur sfruttandone l'infrastruttura.

VaiSulWeb staff wishes all of our customers a wonderful 2012 and we would like to confirm that we're already working on many new things in order to provide our customers a better experience with VaiSulWeb. 2011 has been a very long and busy year which saw our projection from a national company to international scene. Last year, at this time, we have been admitted to Microsoft's Web Hosting Gallery and we were the only italian company and one of few european ones.

Since then and during 2011 we have been providing our customers new products and services featuring new technologies and innovation, up to our new VSW VPS Basic line of virtual servers (virtual machines) which have been unveiled during December. Our 2011 has been a very successful year, confirmed by a few key numbers even in a context of weak Economy like present one : around 30% increase in sales, 15% in hosted domains and websites and about 15% of new customers. These numbers confirm what we were feeling : our technology offers is very interesting and customers are appreciating it. We're on right path !

There have been two key points during 2011 :

on January 2011, we have been admitted to Microsoft's Web Hosting Gallery and that gave VaiSulWeb spotlight it deserved and turned our company from a national one to a firm with global reach;
new VPS offer, our VSW VPS Basic line of virtual servers.

As said, first one proved that VaiSulWeb can meet demands from global market as it can provide products and services featuring the highest level of technology. Right now our company hosts customers from Spain, Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom and Belgium but we are preparing a better context for our international customers and we plan to host a lot of them. Global market is a valuable one and we plan to focus a lot to foreign customers than we did earlier and more than we do for italian ones. This new year will be devoted to expanding to global market.

Second key point is something new both in Italian context and international one, expecially since our engineers are putting all of their expertise in preparing new templates for VPSes in order to allow our customers to activate a new pre-configured virtual server in minutes even when they need complex setups (like support for MS Web Platform or applications like DotNetNuke, Joomla, Wordpress and so on). That will provide our less-expert users with ability to choose virtual servers over standard shared hosting (even if we suggest that those users will ask for help for system maintenance). Moreover, our reseller offer for VSW VPS Basic line of VPSes will allow our resellers to design their own offers without any need to be tied to VaiSulWeb, even if using our infrastructure for their services.
